Tonga High School started its two-day Inter-House Athletics competition on Thursday, 18 February to select the best athletes for the upcoming Inter-College Athletics competition.

The day began with the 800m run with various field events such as the high jump and discus at the Teufaiva Outdoor Stadium this morning.

The best athletes will represent the secondary school at the Inter-College Sports 2016 usually held in April.

Despite the gusty and cloudy weather, athletes were loudly cheered on by their peers, teachers and parents during the fun sports day.
