Tonga's ‘Ikale Tahi will battle it out with Japan's Brave Blossoms for the third and fourth places in the 2015 Pacific Nations Cup PNC at the Swangard Stadium, Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada at 11.00am, Monday 3 August (Tonga time 7:00am, 4 August).

The winner of this game will receive the bronze medal. The loser will hold the fourth position.

A victory for the ‘Ikale Tahi is a must to maintain its No. 12 position in the World Rugby Ranking. The Brave Blossoms on No. 13 could move up a rank with a win over the ‘Ikale Tahi.

The ‘Ikale Tahi ended up playing the Brave Blossoms after they were beaten by the Flying Fijians on Wednesday 29 July, 27-22.

Earlier the same day, Wednesday 29 July, the ‘Ikale Tahi beat the American Eagles 33-19.

The American Eagles will play Canada for the fourth and fifth positions in the PNC ranking.

The Manu Samoa on Wednesday 29 July beat Canada 20-21.

The Flying Fijians and the Manu Samoa will battle it out for the first and second places.

Following Round Three of the 2015 Pacific Nations Cup on Wednesday 29 July, the Flying Fijians and the Manu Samoa tied at top rank with 11 points each from two wins and a draw each. In second place was the ‘Ikale Tahi with eight points from two wins and loss, and in third place was the Brave Blossoms with six points from one win and two losses; then at the bottom of the rank is Canada with one point. Canada lost all its three games.

The final for the 2015 Pacific Nations Cup will be between the Flying Fijians and the Manu Samoa at 17.00.
