Pampas defeat Tonga A, 31 – 7 [1]

The tournament favourites, Pampas XV defeated Tonga A 31 to 7 on Saturday, March 14 at the World Rugby Pacific Challenge tournament in Suva, Fiji.

The Argentine Pampas XV scored five tries including one penalty try. They lead at half time 17 – 0.

Tonga scored its only try in the second-half - by Kapiolani Kaufusi. This is the second defeat for Tonga following its narrow loss (30 -28) to Samoa A last week.  

Tonga A will play their last pool match against Junior Japan this Wednesday, March 18.
