World Cup opponents named for Tonga [1]

Tonga’s four pool opponents for the 2015 Rugby World Cup in England have been confirmed as Georgia, Namibia, Argentina and the All Blacks.

Tonga’s opener will be against Georgia on 19 September, 2015 in Gloucester. The ‘Ikale Tahi goes on to play Namibia, Argentina and their final pool fixture will be against the All Blacks on November 5.

Tonga has met the All Blacks in three World Cups, losing all matches by large score margins. However, the recent recruitment of former Springbok head coach and All Black-slayer, Jack White may give the ‘Ikale Tahi an edge this time round. There is also the potential signing of former All Black practice squad prop Ben Tameifuna.
