Royal luncheon for Prince Taufa'ahau [1]

Prince Taufa'ahau Manumataongo, second in line to the Tongan throne, celebrated his first birthday with a church service and a royal luncheon in the grounds of the Royal Palace on Saturday, 10 May.
The young prince appeared to have captured the attention and the hearts of all who were at the celebration with his vibrant look and behavior. One of his uncles, Lord Fakafanua, a brother of his mother, Crown Princess Sinaitakala, expressed his joy by changing the name of a waterfront part of his estate from 'Anana to Manumataongo Bay. Manumataongo Bay is on the shore of the Fanga'uta Lagoon. An area that has attracted a growing number of newly constructed residential homes.
A singing group Kalapu Huolanga from Kolomotu'a entertained, with traditional dancing groups performing a Tau'olunga from Ma'ufanga, and a Lakalaka by the Government Primary School , GPS Kanokupolu.
