Lord Fusitu'a dies [1]

Lord Fusitu'a (87), the Niuatoputapu and Niuafo'ou Nobles' Representative to the Tongan parliament passed away in Nuku'alofa on Thursday, 24 April.
A government spokesperson said that Lord Fusitu'a's funeral service has been set for Saturday, 3 May at 3:00pm at the Free Wesleyan Centenary Church, to be followed by interment at the Mala‘e‘aloa Cemetary in Nuku'alofa.
Fusitu'a was the oldest of Tonga's 33 Nobles of the Realm, and his estates are Faletanu and Ma‘ufanga in Niuafo‘ou. He was a former Speaker of the Tonga Legislative Assembly, serving from 1990-98.
He is survived by his wife, Lady Fusitu‘a and two children, Mata‘i‘ulua ‘I Fonuamotu Fusitu‘a and Finelasi Fuafolau Fusitu‘a.
