Tonga U20’s thrash Hong Kong, 39 – 16 [1]

The Tongan under-20s rugby team have thrashed Hong Kong’s under-20 team, 39 – 16 at the Junior World Rugby Trophy in Hong Kong on Saturday April 12.

Tonga U20s ran in five tries against the home team winning the match with a convincing score line 39 – 16.

The win redeems the team’s big loss in its opener against Georgia last Monday 7 April.

The Tonga U20s are set to play their last pool match against the United States tomorrow April 15. The pool toppers, United States defeated Georgia yesterday 13 – 12.

Tonga may still have a chance of topping their pool if they secure a large victory over the United States.
