Position Minimum Requirements Salary

ICT Manager

Operation Support Command

 Either/or:
  • Postgraduate qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with 2 years of in a similar role
  • Relevant degree + 3 years in similar role or 6 years’ work experience in ICT operations.
  • Relevant diploma + 6 years in similar role or 10 years’ relevant work experience in ICT operations.
  • Current Public Service or Private Sector employee with 12 years’ experience in ICT operations or 7 years in a similar role.

Knowledge and understanding of Tonga Police’s operational environment would be an advantage.

Salary Range: Band I
[$34,342 - $51,511]

Starting point to commensurate
with the qualification and
experience brought to the role.

Software Engineer

Operation Support Command

 Either/or:
  • Relevant postgraduate qualification (Level 8 TNQAB framework) + at least 1 year experience in a similar role
  • Relevant degree + 3 years in similar role or 6 years’ relevant work experience.
  • Relevant diploma + 4 years in similar role or 8 years’ relevant work experience.
  • Current Public Service or Private Sector employee with 10 years’ experience in ICT operations or similar role.

Knowledge and understanding of Tonga Police’s operational environment would be an advantage.

Salary Range: Band J
($30,526- 45,788)
