Job Purpose
The Integrated Aged Care Project is a project that aims at enhancing and improving life for the aged and their caregivers. The purpose of this role is to provide reliable and courteous transportation services to facilitate the needs of the Project and to ensure operations run smoothly.
Accountabilities
- Provide transportation for PMU Team and guests in a timely and safe manner.]
- Maintain mileage logbook records and record fuel utilization.-
- Carry out pickup and delivery of documents and other goods in a timely manner.
- Assist in loading and unloading of luggage and cargo.
- Ensure that road rules are followed at all times.
- Schedule annual vehicle examination for service of vehicles and apply for the renewal for the vehicle license.
- Ensure Office vehicles are kept clean both inside and outside and in good working order
- Perform other duties as directed by Project Manager and the Project Management Unit Team.
Person Specification
Knowledge Skills, and Abilities
Mandatory:
- Ability to follow written and spoken instructions and work processes.
- Good driving skills and abilities.
- An ability to relate to people in a professional manner.
- Able to display good customer service skills.
- Ability to understand and communicate in English and Tongan.
Desirable:
- Excellent knowledge of Tongan roads, buildings, and landmarks.
- Knowledge of relevant Tongan Protocols.
- Ability to Transport Older people
- Ability to help and Support Older People
Qualifications and Experience
- Form 6 PSSC or equivalent of Certificate level 2 or more than 8 years Driving Experience
- Must have an unblemished driver’s licence record
- At least 3 years of Driving
