REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
(CONSULTING SERVICES)
Reference No. RFQ2024-25-16
The Contracting Entity acting on behalf of the Ministry of Health has received funding from the Government and intends to apply part of the proceeds for the following consulting services.
The consulting services (“the Services”) include Geotechnical Assessment for remedial works project at Vaiola Hospital Nuku’alofa Kingdom of Tonga.
The Contracting Entity now invites eligible consulting firms (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required minimum qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The short-listing criteria are:
Capability Statement but not limited too.

- Summary description of the company
- Core Capabilities
- Description of major services offered (strong Knowledge of Soil and Rock mechanics)
- Business Certifications
- Private Local, State and Federal Government and international Clients (Pacific Region Clients) that you have worked with in the past 5 years on Geotech Consulting
- Major Clients, Commercial and Government
- Partners
- Resumes of Potential staff to be used on this Consultancy with Minimum of 5 years experience and min bachelor’s degrees in Geotechnical Engineering on this type of work.

Consultants may associate with other firms in the form of a joint venture or a sub-consultancy to enhance their qualifications.
A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Part 9 61 (2) Procurement of Consulting Services Method, set out in the Public Procurement Regulations.
