TEAM LEADER CUSTOMER SERVICE
Based in Nuku'alofa, Tonga, a vacancy now exists in our Eua Sub Branch for a Team Leader Customer Service. This role reports to Head of Retail and is responsible for leading, motivating and coaching the Sub Branch Team to focus on maximizing opportunities in the local area, improve customer experience, work together as a team including business partners and to ensure behavior is ethical and compliant.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Manage and coach team to engage customers in quality needs whether future or current and currently not met by the bank.
- Manage expense budget to ensure that non-lending losses, tellers' errors, stationary and overtime are kept to a minimum.
- Develop awareness of local area market and evaluate local area competition to agree a business plan to achieve objectives with Branch Manager.
- Actively role model, coach and empower the branch team to deliver an unmatched customer experience and to develop an action plan for the major drivers of customer experience.
- Ensure to improve and maintain business health through effectively managing of risk in the branch.
- Analyze workloads, customer trac and data to actively plan, manage and roster sta in order to improve the branch flexibility and optimize staff utilization.
- Ensure that the branch team has an up-to-date understanding of internal procedures and policies as well as the products and services offered through the branch.
Essential Qualifications, Professional Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of Form 6 or 7 certificate or desirable Tertiary qualification in business related field.
- Proven experience in leading a team to deliver results.
- Strong sales management and coaching skills.
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in retail banking.
- 3+ years experience in a banking or related industry.
- 1+ experience in a sales and people management role.
Salary will commensurate with skills and experience of the successful candidate.
