Tonga A to face Samoa A on Tuesday [1]

Tonga A will play its first match of the 2014 Pacific Rugby Cup tomorrow, Tuesday March 4, 2014, against Samoa A in Sydney, Australia.

The 2014 Pacific Rugby Cup commenced two-weeks ago. Tonga A can expect a highly confident Samoan side who were narrowly beaten by New South Wales team Glen Blue (17 – 14) in their opening match last Friday, February 28.

The defending champions, the Fijian Warriors also suffered a narrow loss in their opener yesterday March 2, in Ballymore, Brisbane. The Fijian Warriors were defeated by the Reds A 22 – 19.

A new team in the tournament this year, the Argentinian Pampas XV defeated the ACT Brumbies A 32 - 23 yesterday. Junior Japan was thrashed by the Western Force A 61 – 6 on Saturday March 1.

Tonga A will play Samoa A at the TG Milner Oval in Sydney tomorrow March 4, kick-off time at 3.30pm.
