USP appoints two Vice Presidents [1]

Two new Vice Presidents, Dr Giulio Masasso Paunga of Tonga and Dr Dilawar Grewal, were appointed by the Executive Committee of the University of the South Pacific on February 24.
Dr Giulio Masasso Paunga will be Vice-President, overseeing Regional Campuses, properties and facilities. He joined the University in 2011 as a Senior Fellow in Education Financing in the Institute of Education IOE, at the USP Tonga Campus. Dr Paunga holds a PhD and MA (Economics) from the University of Daito Bunioa in Tokyo, Japan, and a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from Wesleyan University, Connecticut, USA.
During the past three years Dr Grewal has been engaged with the USP as an advisor to the Vice-Chancellor and Pesident in IT. He received his Doctorate from Texas A & M University in 1994.
