Teenage boy charged with indecent assault [1]

A 17-year-old boy was arrested and charged with four counts, of carnal knowledge, unlawful imprisonment, assault and indecent assault of a 13-year-old girl at Houmakelikao.

The Police said that the girl lodged her complaint at the Nuku'alofa Police station on Monday, 10 February, and alleged that the accused committed the offences at Houmakelikao on February 8, 2104.

The accused was arrested and remained in custody.

The accused was scheduled to appear at the Nuku’alofa Magistrate’s Court on February 24.
