Australian cruise ship visits Tonga [1]

The Sea Princess from Australia visited Nuku’alofa in the weekend with nearly 2,000 passengers. It berthed at the new Vuna Wharf and many of its passengers were out visiting shops and cafes in the Central Business District.

The 11th cruise ship to visit Tonga this year, the Sea Princess arrived with 1,954 passengers and 844 crew on Saturday morning, September 7 before departing for Samoa later in the evening.

This is the second time the Sea Princess visited the capital since it first came earlier in May.

The Ministry of Tourism confirmed a total of 17 cruise ships to visit Tonga this year.
