Hundreds of spectators filled the Heilala Village tent, on the Nuku'alofa seafront on Sunday evening June 30 to hear the joyful songs of 15 choirs at the annual ‘One Tonga – Glorifying God in Song’ choral night.

The CEO of Fexco/Western Union Tonga, Robina Nakao organized and sponsored the event, a first major public event for the Heilala Festival Week in Nuku’alofa and presented singers in colourful choirs from many different church denominations and groups, including a visiting youth group from California.

The choirs included Fexco/Western Union, Tu‘atakilangi Youth, Breakthrough Church, Ma‘ufanga Parish Youth, Sisu Koe Fetu‘u Ngingila, Salvation Army, Garden Grove Seventh Day Adventist Church – USA, Tokaikolo Christian Church, Assembly of God – Nuku’alofa, Church of Tonga – Nuku‘alofa, Free Wesleyan Church – Pelehake, Kingdomisation Healing Ministry, LDS church, Seventh Day Adventist Church Combined Youth, and the Free Church of Tonga – Ha’asini.
