Tonga will send one athlete to the 2012 Paralympic Games in London from August 29 to September 9

'Alo'alo ki 'Ene'io Liku who is currently training in Cardiff will be accompanied by two officials, the Chef de mission Viliami Tufui and coach Tevita Vake who left for England on August 11.

Viliami said today that 'Alo'alo would compete in two events, the javelin on September 2 and discus on September 6.

"We are currently in training camp until August 24 before we return to London to attend a welcoming service hosted by the Mayor of London, at the Paralympic Village on August 28."

Viliami said 'Alo'alo was in good spirit and training hard. "We are looking forward to the start of the games and we are grateful to the Tongan community in Wales for their great hospitality, he said.
