Mate Ma'a Tonga beat USA Tomahawks [1]

Mate Ma'a Tonga, Tonga's National Rugby League team beat USA Tomahawks 28-20 in an inaugural Ohana Cup Test in Honolulu, on May 12.
Rugby League Planet reported, Mate Ma'a Tonga ranked 9th in the world proved too good for the 11th ranking USA Tomahawks in a physical game, at Kaiser Stadium.
Tonga scored five tries by Siafau Talanoa, James Tutuila, Petelo Tangilau, Sione Fakaosilea while Pitikeni Fungavaka and James Tutuila added the extras.
For the Tomahawks three tries were scored by forward Andrew Kniesly, fullback Kenny Britt and Vai Notoa, Matt Walsh added the rest by booting three conversions and a penalty goal.
It was the first ever test match played in Hawaii. The Ohana cup is a perpetual trophy and symbol to commemorate competition between the USA Tomahawks and rugby league in Pacific nations.
World Cup
The test match was a critical part for both team's preparations for the 2013 Rugby League World Cup.
Tonga is in Group C with Scotland and Italy, while USA is in Group D with Wales and Cook Islands.
The 2013 Rugby League World Cup will be hosted by England and Wales, but matches will also be held in Ireland and France.
