NOBLE Kalaniuvalu (37) who died suddenly in Auckland, New Zealand, early Sunday morning, April 4, is to be buried at the Paepae 'o Tele'a Cemetery, Lapaha next week.

Lord Chamberlain Viela Tupou confirmed today, that the young noble's body is expected to arrive in Tonga from New Zealand on Tuesday, April 13. His wake would be held on the same evening at his residence Fonuamotu at Lapaha, before his burial on Wednesday, April 14 at the Paepae 'o Tele'a Cemetery, one of the ancient burial grounds of the Tu'i Tonga Dynasty.

Kalaniuvalu is the eldest son of Princess Mele Siu'ilikutapu and the late Kalaniuvalu Fotofili. He recently married Maasi Manu on January 9 this year.

The cause of death has not been confirmed, but it is understood that Kalaniuvalu died from natural causes.
