Tonga's Tautahi Gold wins at PRC [1]

TAUTAHI Gold is currently at the top of its game at the 2010 Pacific Rugby Cup with two wins and no loss. Their latest win was against the Savaii Samoa 16-14 on May 10 in Fiji.

At the beginning of the PRC Tournament on May 6, Tautahi first defeated fellow Tongan team Tau'uta Reds 26-10 at the Teufaiva Stadium in Nuku'alofa.

While the Tau'uta Reds, who have not won a game, first lost to Tautahi on May 10 before loosing again to the Fiji Barbarians 30-43 on May 10.

On May 14 Tautahi would meet the Fiji Barbarians while Tau'uta meet Upolu Samoa at the Churchill Park in Lautoka, Fiji.

The Tautahi team is being led in the 2010 PRC tournament by Captain Sione Kalamafoni.

The annual Pacific Rugby Cup Tournament consists of two rugby teams each from the three Pacific Islands of Samoa, Fiji and Tonga.

The final is expected to take place on May 29 at the National Stadium in Suva.
