TONGA'S National U-20 Rugby Team is competing in the International Rugby Board IRB Junior World Cup 2010 to be held in Argentina, starting on June 5-17.

The 26-member squad included 15 players from Tonga, seven from New Zealand and four from Australia departed Auckland for Argentina on June 1, after attending an intensive training camp in New Zealand.

The 12 national teams that will be competing for the IRB Junior World Cup 2010 will include teams from New Zealand to England, South Africa, Australia, France, Wales, Samoa, Ireland, Scotland, Tonga, Argentina and Fiji.

The Manager of Tonga's U-20 tea, 'Amanaki Fakakovikaetau said Tonga is currently placed in 10th place and their goal is to improve their ranking.

Tonga will play three matches, firstly against South Africa on June 5, Australia on June 9 then Scotland on June 13. The finals will be held on June 17.
