'Ikale Tahi meets Japan in Apia on June 26 [1]

THE 'Ikale Tahi, Tonga's national rugby team willl play its final game of the 2010 Pacific Nations Cup against Japan tomorrow, June 26, at 'Apia Park, Apia, Samoa. The 'Ikale Tahi's last chance to win a game in the tournament.

The Fijian national rugby team, the Flying Fijian is leading the Pacific Nations Cup tournament with nine point, from two wins against Japan and Tonga. Japan and the Manu Samoa tied for second place with four points each, from one win and one loss. Japan loss to Fiji but beat Samoa. The Manu Samoa beat the 'Ikale Tahi then loss to Japan.

The final games of the tournament will be tomorrow , at Apia Park, Samoa, when the 'Ikale Tahi will play Japan and the Manu Samoa will play the Flying Fijians.

The head coach, 'Isitolo Maka said that he is introducing five new players to his starting line-up, "to give all the players of the touring squad a run, and to maintain a sense of continuity in their playing style as a team."

'Isitolo accepted that they have lost two games, but he appreciated the effort that his players have committed to those games. "Our last game against Fiji, we just made too many errors in the second half, with the game against Japan, our aim is to remain consistent, and sustain the pressure throughout the whole game," said 'Isitolo with optimism for a victory on their final encounter in the 2010 Pacific Nations Cup.
