THE wedding of Noble Kalaniuvalu Fotofili (35) and Marcella Taumoepeau-Tupou (33) will be held on Saturday, August 28 at the Free Wesleyan Centenary Church in Nuku'alofa.

The wedding celebrations started last week with the Fakalelea held at the bride's residence Faka'anaua at Hala Tu'i in Kolofo'ou on Saturday, August 22.

HRH Princess Pilolevu Tuita, a first cousin of the bride, attended the ceremony with families and friends.

Noble Kalaniuvalu Fotofili is the youngest son of Princess Mele Siu'ilikutapu and the late Kalaniuvalu. He took over the hereditary title Kalaniuvalu following the sudden death of his older brother in April this year.

Marcella Tupou is the eldest daughter of Hon Tu'a Taumoepeau Tupou and the late Latuniua, a sister of the Queen Mother Halaevalu Mata'aho.
