A Tonga National Men'’s Volleyball team will leave Tonga on February 28 to participate in the 2005 Men'’s World Volleyball Championships Asian leg.

The first round tournament will be held in Cebu City in the Philippines from March 2- 6. Tonga will be competing against volleyball teams from Chinese Taipei, Indonesia and Macao.

Sione Fonua, the Assistant Manager for the National Team said that the 12 member team was picked earlier in February and they were currently in training camp before they depart.

The team will return to Tonga on March 7.
