Tonga U-20 looses out on 2010 Oceania Football Champs [1]

TONGA'S National U-20 Women's Football team have ended their bid for the Oceania Football Confederations Women's Nations Cup in New Zealand, after winning only one match out of its three matches.
The Tongan girls put in their best effort to remain in the tournament although they lost their first match against Solomon Islands 0-4 and struggled to beat Papua New Guinea 0-3.
However, Tongan officials said, the team would leave Auckland for Tonga with their heads held high after defeating the Fijians 2-1, their only victory.
The tournament held at North Harbour Stadium began on September 28 with finals on October 8.
Battling it out in the semi finals are New Zealand against Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea against Cook Islands on October 6.
