FIT team completes the Taupo Half Ironman [1]

Four Friendly Island Triathlon (FIT) triathletes completed New Zealand's Taupo Half Ironman, consisting of a 2km swim, 90km cycle and a 21km run on Saturday, December 11.
The three men and one woman received medals for completing the distance.
'Alo Fe'iloakitau was the first of the four Tongan triathletes to finish with a time of 5h 55m 06s, followed by Gerhard Sanft 6h 03m 42s, Marie Fonua 6h 06m 56s and Kantaro Oishi in 6h 18m 53s.
The winner of the Individual Male Category was Terenzo Bozzene with a time 4h 06m 40s and in second place was Matt Burgess, also a New Zealander with a time of 4h 06m 56s.
There were 430 male triathletes in the Individual Male category. 'Alo was placed 225th, Gerhard 246 and Kantaro 292.
The winner of the Individual Female Category was Belinda Harper with a time of 4h 47m 50s. A total of 233 female triathletes participated. Marie finished in 73rd place.
