Prominent guests join Royal birthday luncheon [1]

Prominent Polynesian leaders including the Maori King, the Head of State of Samoa, the Paramount Chief of Samoa, along with Fiji's first lady, and a guest of Tonga's king, the Fijian Lt. Col. Tevita Mara, gathered at the Royal Palace in Nuku'alofa yesterday to celebrate the 85th birthday of HM the Queen Mother Halaevalu Mata'aho.
Following a special church service at the Centennial Church a Royal Luncheon was served in the Palace grounds.
Attended by King George Tupou V, members of the Tongan Royal family and visiting guests including the Head of State of Samoa HH Tuiatua Tupua Tamasese Efi and his wife HH Masiofo Filifilia Tamasese; the Maori King Te Ariki Niu Tuheitia Paki and wife Ariki Atawhai; and Fiji's First Lady Adi Koila Nailatikau.
Also present was Fijian Lieutenant Colonel Ratu Tevita Uluilakeba Mara who joined the group photo with the King.
The Queen Mother's granddaughters Hon Lupepau'u Tuita, Hon Lupeolo Halaevalu Moheofo Verginia Rose Tuita, and Hon Salote Maumautaimi Tuku'aho; and also Hon Sinaitakala Fakafanua, the daughter of Princess 'Ofeina Fakafanua blew out the candles on the cake.
The Queen Mother's great granddaughter Hon Phaedra 'Anaseini Tupouveihola 'Ikaleti olo 'i Fangatapu Fusitu'a also performed a special item.
