Tonga's National U-20 Women Squad for the Oceania Football Confederation Women's World Cup Qualifiers starting in New Zealand next week, was named on January 13.

The 16-member squad departs Tonga for New Zealand on Saturday, January 16 in preparation for the championship that will run from January 21-25 at the North Harbour Stadium.

Initially 19 players were selected for the championship scheduled for October last year but it was postponed due to the Pacific tsunami.

The round-robin competition will consist of six matches between four nations of New Zealand, American Samoa, Cook Islands and Tonga.
