Campese, TRU's new friend [1]

David Campese, the former Australian Wallaby winger is a new found friend of the Tonga Rugby Union.
David was in Tonga last week, as a guest coach of the Tonga Seven-a-side rugby national team. While he was in town he watched the Campese Seven Tournament, and the final of Saturday. David also helped with the selection of a seven-a-side national team from the Campese Seven tournament.
Mark Hojelsen, a director of the Tonga Rugby Union said that the TRU was advised by Bob Tuckey to recruit David as a guest coach and an inspiration to the national Seven-a-side team and 'Ikale Tahi.
Mark said that David was most willing to get involved in Tongan rugby. He said that the TRU paid for David's travel expenses and his stay in Tonga.
On this first to Tonga David was accompanied by his wife and two young children, a boy and a girl.
During his short stay he met the Tonga rugby fraternity at a cocktail hosted by the Chairman of the TRU, Sione Taumoepeau, and a dinner hosted by the Prime Minister, Dr Feleti Sevele.
