Tautahi Gold defeated fellow Tongan team Tau'uta Red with a narrow score of 14-12 in round three of the Pacific Rugby Cup Tournament Saturday May 9 in Nuku'alofa.

It was the Tautahi's second victory from three outings since the start of the Pacific Rugby Cup Tournament on April 25. It lost its first game to 'Upolu Samoa, then it beat the Fijian Warriors 26-21 on May 2 and the Tau'uta last Saturday.

The other Round Three games saw the Upolu Samoa thrashing the Fiji Barbarians 49-13 at Apia Park while the Fiji Warriors defeated Savaii Samoa 39-22 at Churchill Park in Lautoka.

Round Four of the tournament on May 15 sees the Fiji Warriors against Upolu Samoa Churchill Park, Lautoka, Fiji. While on May 16 the Tau'uta Reds meet the Fiji Barbarians Teufaiva Stadium, Nuku'alofa, Tonga; and Savaii Samoa meets Tautahi Gold at Prince Edward Park, Savaii, Samoa.
