The draw for the 2011 Rugby World Cup to be held in New Zealand has put Tonga in Pool A together with New Zealand, France, Americas 1, and Asia 1.

The Americas 1 is yet to be confirmed, but to date it is the USA. The Asia 1, yet to be confirmed, could be Japan.

Tongan has beaten France, USA and Japan in the past, so it is within our capability to beat those three teams and advance to the Quarter-finals where we could meet either Argentina or England. Both of these teams are within our range and if we advance past the Quarter-finals we could meet either Australia or Wales.

Pool C: Australia, Ireland, Italy, Europe 2, Americas 2;

Quarter-final 1: Pool B winner v Pool A runner-up;

Quarter-final 2: Pool C winner v Pool D runner-up;

Quarter-final 3: Pool A winner v Pool B runner-up;

Quarter-final 4: Pool D winner v Pool C runner-up;

Semi-final 1: Quarter-final 1 winner v Quarter-final 2 winner;

Semi-final 2: quarter-final 3 winner v Quarter-final 4 winner.
