I just wanted to say Congratulations to Matangi Tonga Online photo-journalist and 2008 Sasakawa Pacific Islands Journalism Fellow, Linny Folau, for the wonderful articles. I have always enjoyed reading Matangitonga because of its professionalism; Linny's article is a testament to the high standards your management aspires to and achieves. I have always known Linny to be a talented writer but her description of a fish market in such eloquent and vivid language "put me right there." I could visualize the sights, smells and sense of urgency in that industry. You are deserving of that award and congratulate Pesi and Mary for endorsing training for such budding talents. I have confidence in our upcoming journalists and reporters such as Linny and only hope for more opportunities for them. We should all pool our sources and network and alert such talents to the opportunities out there. We can only benefit. I, for one, enjoyed that article and it was basically about a fish market. We need to keep on encouraging these talents. Let them know of the opportunities. Bring them out. Let them shine . . . it made me smile!
Congrats Linny. Congrats Matangitonga.
Malo.
