A Triathlon competition, a part of the sporting events to celebrate the coronation of King George Tupou V, was held in Nuku'alofa on Saturday July 19.

The event, consisting of 600 meters swim, 18km cycle and 4km run, attracted more than 30 triathletes, who started and finished the event on the Nuku'alofa waterfront.

There were three individuals, and 10 teams.

The individual division was won by 'Alo Fe'iloakitau and the teams division was won by the Fetu'u 'Esi Afi. The places and results in minutes (swim, bike, run, total time):
