Tonga's General Election to be held on 20 November [1]

The General Election for representatives of the Nobles and the People to the Legislative Assembly of Tonga will be held on 20 November, 2025, according to the Writ of Election issued by HM King Tupou VI.

On 20 November, the election for the Noble's Representatives will take place from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

On the same day, the election for the People's Representatives will be held from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

Meanwhile, the nominations for candidates for the Nobles will be accepted at the Palace Office in Nuku'alofa on 8-9 October, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The nominations for candidates for the people's representatives will also be held on 8-9 October, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

In Tongatapu, nominations will be received at the Electoral Commission Office in Nuku'alofa.

For Vava'u and Ha'apai, nominations will be accepted at their respective Governor's Offices.

For 'Eua, Niuafo'ou, and Niuatoputapu, nominations will be accepted at the Offices of Government Representatives.
