Male (21) charged with possession of illicit drugs [1]

A 21 year old male from Hala'ovave was arrested for possession of an alleged 0.77 gram of methamphetamine, 0.33 gram of cannabis, and drug utensils.

Tonga Police made the arrest in Kolomotu'a last Thursday, 17 October.

The suspect is currently in police custody as investigations continue.

"Tonga Police is dedicated to eliminating drug-related crime in our community and encourages anyone with information about drug activities to come forward and report it to the police," Tonga Police stated.
