Nikolai Foliaki to captain ‘Ikale Tahi at Teufaiva, Friday [1]

Nikolai Foliaki will captain the ‘Ikale Tahi in this Friday’s match against the Queensland Reds at Teufaiva Stadium in Nuku’alofa (26 July).

Foliaki’s vice-captains will be Lotu Inisi and Manu Paea.

The ‘Ikale Tahi has been defeated twice in a row, against Italy and Spain this month.

Ben Tameifuna who captained the previous two games, along with vice-captain Malakai Fekitoa, will not be playing tomorrow. The reasons were not confirmed by Tonga Rugby Union or 'Ikale Tahi officials.

However, a member of the Lofas (the Women's team) told Matangi Tonga that she believed that Tameifuna had sustained injuries and that's why we won't see him on the field tomorrow.
