One Tonga Choral event celebrates King's Birthday [1]

Queen Sālote Memorial Hall overflowed with hundreds of people on Sunday evening, 7 July, to hear 12 choirs performing songs of worship at the annual ‘One Tonga - Glorifying God in Song’’ event.

This year's choral event was also part of the King's Birthday celebrations in Nuku'alofa, with King Tupou VI and Queen Nanasipau'u as the guests of honour.

The Executive Producer of One Tonga, Robina Nakao, CEO of FEXCO / Western Union Tonga, hosted the event that brings together many different denominations and their congregations for a musical evening that never fails to delight the audience.
