Miss Heilala Contestants attend orientation programme [1]

Contestants for the Miss Heilala 2024 crown, made their first public appearance this afternoon, 26 June, at the Heilala Village in Nuku'alofa.

The 11 contestants were radiant during the orientation program held ahead of judging events, which will begin on Monday 1 July and end with the crowning of the new Miss Heilala on 5 July.

Reigning Miss Heilala, Sitita Va’enuku welcomed the local and overseas contestants, with the Minister of Tourism Viliami Latu and CEO Viliami Takau.

Eleven out of 12  contestants attended the orientation. Miss Tonga Tourism, Talanoa Fifita was not there, citing work reasons.

The theme of this year's pageant is 'Tonga My Kingdom My Pride'.
