Police woman qualifies as a heptathlete for Oceania Athletics Championship [1]

Probationary Constable Tauvaka will compete in the heptathlon, across seven combined events including the 100-meter hurdles, 200-meter run, 800-meter run, high jump, long (broad) jump, shot put, and javelin throw.
She will also compete in two individual events, the 100-meter and 200-meter sprints.
PC Tauvaka will be accompanied by Sergeant Sesi Salt, her hurdle coach.
Ex-Tonga high athlete
Tonga Police stated that the young athletic officer is at her happiest on the track and in the field and has been recognised for her athletic talent since her days at Tonga High School.
"PC Tauvaka embodies resilience and determination throughout her journey to the Oceania Athletics Championship. She takes pride in knowing that this journey reflects the values she has embraced as a member of Tonga Police," they stated.
Tauvaka is currently serving in the Traffic Unit at the Central Police Station in Nuku'alofa.
