Tonga defeats PNG at the OFC U-16 Qualifying Stage [1]

Tonga’s U-16 team defeated Papua New Guinea (7-0) on their last match in OFC Championship qualifying stage, at Teufaiva Stadium in Nuku’alofa today, 19 April 2024.

Tevita Falepapalangi was on a roll, scoring an impressive four goals for Tonga.

Siaki Lonitenisi scored an additional two goals and Sione ‘Ainu’u took the score board to 7-0 by the end of the match.

Meanwhile, the undefeated Solomon Islands secured their ticket to Tahiti to participate in the OFC Men’s U-16 Championship with a 4-0 win against American Samoa earlier today.
