Japan's international Vice-Minister of Finance visits Tonga [1]

Japan's Vice Minister of Finance for International Affairs, Mr. Masato Kanda visited Tonga from 24-25 October.

He held bilateral meetings with the DPM, Hon Samiu Vaipulu, Minister of Lands and Natural Resources Lord Tu’i’afitu, Lord Fohe, Minister for Agriculture Food and Forestries and other government officials.

Mr. Masato made a courtesy call on HRH Crown Prince Tupouto’a ‘Ulukalala, yesterday morning.

He also toured Japan-funded projects in Nuku’alofa, including Tonga Broadcasting Commission head office (NEWS Project), Taufa’ahau Tupou IV Domestic Wharf, part of Vaiola Hospital and the National Centre, which houses Tonga’s Legislative Assembly.
