Japan's Ambassador volunteers to teach Japanese characters [1]

The Ambassador of Japan to Tonga HE Mr. Munenaga Kensaku, volunteered to teach a Japanese language class at a Tongan school on 9 August.
He taught a class of 25 students from Tupou College, Toloa, the basics of the three types of Japanese characters, Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji.
The Japanese language was introduced at Tupou College last year.
The Embassy of Japan (EOJ) reported that the Mr. Munenaga showed great appreciation after the students demonstrated some good Japanese skills.
