Twelve Miss Heilala contestants made a colourful appearance for the Heilala crown, last night, 4 July, at Sir Sofele Kakala Hall at 'Apifo'ou Ma'ufanga. They started the evenings entertainment by modelling their Kiekie Creation.

Contestants looked elegant as they showed off their Kiekie.

This category was judged based on the suitability of the kiekie, the creativity of the design, and utilization of natural resources and materials that should only be found in Tonga. Adding to that includes elegance, poise, and beauty of the contestant while wearing the kiekie.

The top 5 for Kiekie Creation was announced.

The Kiekie creation is a new category added to the competition, replacing the famous Island creation.
