Soft closing for Legislative Assembly 2022 session on 25 May [1]

Crown Prince Tupouto'a 'Ulukalala and two other nobles will close the Legislative Assembly of Tonga 2022 session, in a soft closing ceremony on 25 May.
Parliament office stated today that the Crown Prince will deliver the Royal Address from King Tupou VI accompanied by Lord Tu’iha’ateiho and Lord Ma’afu.
The marching also returns with primary school students lining up on Taufa’ahau road enroute to Parliament House from the Royal Palace for the occasion.
Meanwhile, the state opening of the Legislative Assembly is scheduled for 1 June, when the House convenes to discuss the proposed National Budget for 2023/24 from Government.
The budget estimate is required to pass by Parliament before 1 July 2023.
Meanwhile, Tonga Police has notified temporary closure of some intersections for the schools' marching, to start from 7:00am to 12:30pm.
