The nomination of candidates to contest the seat for the People's Representative to the Tonga Legislative Assembly for Tongatapu 10 will be held on 6-7 June. 

The By-Election will be held on Thursday, 13 July.

This is to fill the seat vacated by the late Hon. Pohiva Tu’i’onetoa (71) who passed away on 18 March this year. A former Prime Minister from 2019-2021, he died in the United States, after going there for medical reasons in late 2022.

Meanwhile, the nomination of candidates will be held from 10:00am to 3:00pm over these two-days.

Tongatapu 10 constituency includes Afā, ‘Eueiki, Hoi, Kolonga, Lapaha, Makaunga, Manuka, Navutoka, Niutoua, Nukuleka, Talafo'ou and Talasiu.
