Tonga Netball visits young Royals [1]

The young Princesses Halaevalu Mata’aho, Nanasipau’u ‘Eliana and Salote Mafile’o Pilolevu were expected to join the Tonga Netball Kidsnet Program today 17 May. The program consists of teaching basic netball skills every Wednesday afternoon and Saturday mornings at the BSP Court.
Kidsnet is managed by Tonga Netball’s Lavelua Taulahi.
“It’s such an honour for us to not only just have one but three members of the Royal family join us in netball,” she told Matangi Tonga today.
The Kidsnet program will continue for 12 weeks.
The equipment that will be used in the program was donated through the partnership with the Australian Defence and Netball Australia.
Yesterday, Tuesday, 16 May, the young royals were visited by the Australian High Commissioner, HE Rachael Moore with Juan Zhang, from Public Diplomacy in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Team Up Program Manager, Mr. Ben Howard who were on an official visit to Tonga.
