4000 Gilbert Rugby balls for Tongan schools [1]

Gilbert Rugby has donated 4,000 rugby balls to the Tonga Rugby Union (TRU) for the World Rugby development programmes, to be distributed to communities and primary and secondary schools in Tonga.
The Development Manager for TRU, Richie Talia’uli said that they are still working on reaching out to the outer islands as well. This includes Ha’apai, Vava’u and the Niuas.
They have received 160 boxes each containing 25 Gilbert Rugby balls.
World Rugby Limited has a partnership agreement with Grays of Cambridge International Ltd., trading as Gilbert Rugby.

Meanwhile, the Tonga-A has named its squad to travel to Samoa for the Pacific Challenge Cup against Fiji, Samoa and Junior Japan:

The team flies out on 29 April to Apia Samoa and will be playing on 3, 8 and 13 May 2023.
