American jazz band coming to Tonga [1]

Jazz Musicians ‘SOAR’ will be in Tonga from 22-26 April, and will perform a free concert on the evening of 26 April at Digicel Square.

The U.S. Embassy organized a “Friendship Tour” in collaboration with American Music Abroad (AMA).

The leads of SOAR are April May Webb and Randall Haywood. This initiative builds on the United States’ continued engagement in the region.

They will also hold Jazz master classes during the visit.

They arrive on Saturday and next week will be visiting schools, including Tupou College, Tupou Tertiary Institute and Queen Salote College.
