King welcomes 'Ikale Tahi [1]

Tonga's King George Tupou V happily welcomed home the victorious 'Ikale Tahi at the 'Api Konisela in Nuku'alofa this morning.
The king who was in high spirits congratulated the national rugby team and management for a job well done for Tonga.
The team, which consisted 12 of the players, were also equally happy to be reporting back to His Majesty their achievements in the 2007 Rugby World Cup.
Led by Team Manager Angus Naupoto, Assistant Manager Talikava Palu and Coach Quddus Fielea, the team which included star players Finau Maka and Pierre Hola, also presented special gifts to His Majesty.
They concluded the occasion with a special performance of the sipitau on the front lawn of the 'Api Konisela.
Also present were HRH Princess Latufuipeka Tuku'aho and Hon Fanetupouvava'u Kaho as well as the players' families and fans.
