Veikune and his family presented a special ha'amo to the Queen Mother Halaevalu Mata'aho to mark the one-year anniversary of the passing of the Late King Taufa'ahau Tupou IV on September 10, 2006.

The ha'amo - the presentation of food to the Queen Mother, was held at the Matahiva residence opposite the Royal Palace in Nuku'alofa, led by Veikune and his wife 'Atilua.

Veikune said during the presentation that the late King Taufa'ahau Tupou IV will always be remembered by the people of Tonga.

The Queen Mother thanked Veikune and his family for the presentation which included green baskets of Tongan food, together with baskets of fruits and sweets, as well as tapa cloth and mats.

Veikune said they would make a similar presentation to HM King George V at his residence The Villa, on Sunday, September 23.
